Go to Google Cloud Console

Visit console.cloud.google.com and sign in with your Google account (the same Gmail you use for YouTube).

Create a New Project

Click on the project dropdown at the top → "New Project" → Enter project name (e.g., FastSave.me) → Click "Create".

Enable YouTube Data API v3

Go to "APIs & Services" → "Library" → Search for YouTube Data API v3 → Click on it → Click "Enable".

Create API Credentials

Go to "APIs & Services" → "Credentials" → Click "Create Credentials" → Select "API Key" → Your key will be generated instantly!

Copy & Paste Your Key Above

Copy the API key (starts with AIza) and paste it in the field above. Click "Save Key" and you're done! All tools will now show real YouTube data.

API Key FAQ

Is the YouTube API key free?+
Yes! The YouTube Data API v3 is completely free with a quota of 10,000 units per day. Most regular tool usage costs 1–100 units per request, so 10,000 is more than enough for any personal or small business use.
Is my API key safe?+
Your API key is stored only in your browser's localStorage — it never gets sent to our servers. It's only used to make direct requests from your browser to YouTube's API. To be extra safe, you can restrict the API key to the YouTube Data API v3 only in Google Cloud Console.
What happens if quota runs out?+
Quotas reset daily at midnight Pacific Time. If you hit 10,000 units in a day (unlikely for regular use), tools will temporarily show a quota error until the next day. You can also create additional API keys as needed.
Which tools need the API key?+
